18th Century Brownstone Sink

Spout sinks represent the earliest form of colonial era “plumbing”. The spout actually went out through the wall of the dwelling house to drain away used water. Rare offering in this condition. Measures 25” x 37” x 8” thick with a chamfered corner and pitched basin interior. Basin is 3” deep. The sink rim is attractively and fully intact. An eroded hole shows in the basin floor that does not leak. I have repaired this distractor with brown grout in the past…..I will leave this as is in original survivor condition. This sink is Eastern Connecticut origin.
