Made in Westerly, Rhode Island in 1958. Has developed a vintage look with a crusty finish as shown. High quality Chippendale brasses. Constructed in mahogany. Two piece cabinet with edge chips on the top drawer of the base portion. I have the pieces which will repair nicely. Measurements are true to the period: base measures 20”Deep x 38-1/2” Width, top measures 18-1/2” deep x 35” wide. Overall height is 69”.

18th Century Turned Spindle Childs Chair
I bought this gem about 35 years ago from a seven generation estate in Ashford, Connecticut. The classic turned spindles and board "make-do" seat are an extreme pleasure to look at. This is "right as rain" as they say with a wonderful patina. The chair measures 13-1/2" w x 12" deep and stands 21-1/2" tall. The seat height is 6-3/4".
Primarily maple construction.
