Circa 1830 Greek Revival Mantle (NY-3)

Exquisite bold and well-defined styling. Poplar/ tulip wood. The black paint oftentimes indicated mourning of the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. The base plinth block shown is detached but not damaged. Excellent condition overall.
