Granite Corner Stones-Matching Pair

These came from the foundation of a circa 1830 house in Western Massachusetts. I’ve never seen corners treated in that fashion before. The other foundation stones were used in a different application. They each measure 22”H with 18” x 18” returns. The tops are completely flat, while the bottoms are slightly irregular.
