This Unadilla Brand fully wooden silo was built in the 1930's and located on the Anderson Farm on Joy Road in Woodstock, CT. The relocation project commenced Thursday, Sept. 29, with internal bracing and roof removal for crane lift. On Oct 7th, a crane lifted and lowered the silo onto a flatbed trailer. We transported and rerected the silo on its new foundation alongside the Brunn Barn at the Woodstock Fairgrounds on Route 169. The project, when complete, will include a new wooden roof and connect to an adjacent barn, which was reconstructed on the site in 2005.
