Early Cast Iron Bake Oven Door

RARE round top door with early form Federal Eagle casting. The draft control, under the Eagle, has been long lost. This is a very heavy, about 40 pounds, and the moving parts move freely. The door handle is the rat tail style. This was obtained from the State of Virginia but it is of unknown original origin. Measures 13-1/2”H x 23-1/4” overall. Door measures 13”H x 16”W. The body casting is very sturdy at 5/8” thick x 2-1-4”W. Very attractive eye appeal which would add great dimension to any use/installation.
